ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Joseph Curry, affectionately known as Brother Joe, established 1 World Altruist Foundation as a 501(c)3 Public Benefit Organization in 2012. Brother Joe was primarily raised by a single mother in the projects of Detroit, Michigan. After a near death car accident that resulted in a 3 weeklong coma in 2007.  Joe turned his life around and fought his way back to recovery. His recovery led him to pursue and education in social services and a desire to start a non-profit to motivate and help in need individuals to fight through their situations and achieve a better life.
